MASONIC HOME DISTRICT WORK DAYS


List of Masonic Home projects which NEED to be done.
(Note: The following dates are subject to change. Please check the Grand Lodge Calendar.)
You and your Lodge and/or district are welcome to come take care of any projects at any time you wish, however PLEASE check with Brother John Snipes at the home before scheduling.
March 4th & 5th, 2011 – Camp workdays (map to camp)
DISTRICTS  1, 4, 9 & 12, APRIL 9, 2011 –MASONIC HOME WORKDAY BEGINS AT 8:00 AM
BOARD MEETING AT 1:00PM
DISTRICTS  5, 8, 10 & 11, MAY 21, 2011 – MASONIC HOME WORKDAY BEGINS AT 8:00 AM
BOARD MEETING AT 1:00PM
JULY 8. 2011- BOARD MEETING AT SHELLMANS BLUFF CAMP 1:00PM
DISTRICTS 2, 3, 6 & 7, AUGUST 6, 2011 - MASONIC HOME WORKDAY  BEGINS AT 8:00AM  BOARD MEETING AT 1:00PM
DECEMBER 11, 2011 – MASONIC HOME APPRECIATION DAY 3:00 PM

It is hoped that individuals or groups will adopt and accomplish tasks at their own convenient schedule. Some tasks may be performed on work days.

Funds are required for most projects, so if you or your Lodge is unable to perform actual tasks, monetary help on any project will be greatly appreciated.

First Priority
Install Exhaust Fan in the Shop
Second Priority
Clean, Repair or Replace Courtyard Drain
Clean Behind Shop
Fix Water Drain Problem Behind Shop
Clean and Repair Gutters on Dorms and Staff Houses
Repair Porch and Steps on Staff House # 3
New Entrance Doors and Surroundings at Dorm Cross Halls
Third Priority
Service Roofs on Senior Dorms and Staff Houses (drive nails)
Fourth Priority
Correct Water Flow Problems at Basement Door
Install Aluminum on Fascia of Shop and all Staff Houses.  
 Install Vinyl Sofit when Funds are Available.
Replace Seats on Swings
Fifth Priority
Paint Board Room and Adjacent Hall
Paint Staff Houses as required
Refurbish Picnic Tables in Shelters
Repair Gym Doors
Repair Plumbing in Gym
Repair Bicycles
Move Shrubbery from Senior Girls Dorm to Chapel  
 (In January or February).
