The Grand Lodge of Georgia F. & A. M.
The Masonic Home of Georgia has served over 2,100 children from the State of Georgia. Located on 650 acres in Macon, the Masonic Home is easily accessible from any point in the State.

These are the Brethren, elected by the Masons in their various Masonic districts throughout the state of Georgia, who oversee the operations of the Masonic Home. Theirs is a labor of Love...for the Children and for Freemasonry. They serve without financial compensation so those less fortunate and far less capable of caring for themselves might have a warm, safe home in a family environment where they can study, play, be happy, and mature into productive members of society.
The Masonic Home is comprised of four halls and two cottages, where the children reside in a family type atmosphere under the care of dedicated houseparents.
The home has an education department responsible for meeting the needs of each child.

At various times throughout the year many caring and dedicated Lodges sponsor a variety of recreation activities for the children. These include picnics, day trips to see the Braves and Falcons, "Six Flags" and "Whitewater" trips and even trips to Homosassa Florida to swim with the manatees and to Disney World and Epcot.
Additionally, the home owns a camp at Shellman's Bluff, where the children go to "rough it" every summer for about three weeks.
